3 Time World Grand Champion
Missouri Fox Trotter Stallion
DOB: 4/18/96
Certificate of Registration: 96-50251

Sire: Traveler’s Jester
Dam: Missouri’s Charming Princess M.

It is with a heavy heart to share that Prince Jester succumbed to a rare form of colic and was humanely euthanized on April 12, 2011.  Prince Jester proved himself to be a world-class producing stallion. Since 2000, he had produced 30 champions including 14 World Grand Champions, 6 Reserve World Grand Champions, 8 Futurity & World Champions, 3 National Breeder's Cup Grand Champions, and 2 National Breeder's Cup Reserve Champions.

Prince Jester was born on 4/18/96, in Farmington, AR, by the great Traveler’s Jester and out of the undefeated 4 time World Grand Champion mare Missouri’s Charming Princess M.  Recognizing “show potential” as a coming 2 year old by Keith Robbins and Larry Robbins, Prince Jester was sent to Geno Middleton of Nixa, MO, for training and won the 2 Year Old Amateur World Grand Championship in 1998.

During this time, Randy Williams, Manager/Trainer for Richard Simon’s Ocala Foxtrotter Ranch, located in Ocala, Florida, was looking for a young, quality stallion to promote the breed in Florida. Randy was impressed with Prince Jester’s breeding and ability, and in the Fall of his 2 year old year, the Ocala Foxtrotter Ranch purchased Prince Jester through acting agent Jerry Middleton from Keith Robbins & Larry Robbins.

Prince Jester proceeded to come into his own in the following 4 years and joined an elite class of champions with this list of achievements . . .

• 2 Year Old Amateur World Grand Champion – 1998
• 3 Year Old NBC Grand Champion - 1999
• 3 Year Old Open World Grand Champion - 1999
• 5 Year Old & Older Open Stallions & Geldings World Champion - 2001
• 5 Year Old & Older Open Reserve World Grand Champion - 2001
• 5 Year Old & Older Open World Grand Champion - 2003

While there are so many wonderful stories one could write about Prince Jester, perhaps one of the most unforgettable took place back in 2002 where he was showing in Tampa, Florida. While drying off at a wash rack, a little girl had wandered up to him and being small enough, was able to stand under his belling, curiously looking between his back legs. It was astounding to see Prince Jester turning his head to look at her underneath his belly and taking every precaution not to move into this child’s space . . . standing completely still until the mother removed the child. That was a moment in time where this magnificent animal stopped and once again warmed everyone's hearts.

His Retirement . . .Prince Jester enjoyed a more relaxed schedule standing at stud, being showcased at Horse Expos and Exhibitions, amazing everyone who meets him with his gentle nature, winning the hearts of those participating in Equine Sports Massage.

While one always should remain cautious around any horse, Prince Jester had broken the mold and seemed to consistently dispel the common worries most people associate with the word “stallion.” Prince Jester’s extraordinary disposition, remarkable talent, beautiful style, willing heart, and natural ability to pass these traits on to his off-spring made him an ambassador of the Missouri Fox Trotter horse breed.

He will be deeply missed and we will treasure our memories forever . . .
